Retro-Pop Artist Tabitha Meeks Brings Vintage Charm to Jasper Arts Center November 7
Jasper Arts will welcome Nashville-based singer-songwriter and pianist Tabitha Meeks to the Jasper Arts
Center on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for an intimate evening of retro-inspired pop music. The performance is part of
the Jasper Arts Backstage Series, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the show beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Dubbed the "Queen of Retro Pop," Meeks brings a fresh perspective to the sounds of decades past. Often described as
"Norah Jones meets Nancy Sinatra," her music blends vintage influences, infectious melodies, clever songwriting, and
expressive piano performances into a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.
Known for her feel-good energy and engaging live performances, Meeks has gained recognition for songs including "Girl
of the Hour," which was named the 2025 Song of the Year by North Carolina radio station 97.9 The Hill. Her music has
also been featured across major entertainment platforms, including Netflix, Hallmark, CBS, and Peacock. In February
2026, she released her latest album, Can't a Girl Dream!, showcasing her signature retro-pop style.
The November 7 performance offers audiences a unique opportunity to experience Meeks in the intimate setting of the
Jasper Arts Backstage Series. Rather than traditional auditorium seating, audience members will be seated on the stage
alongside the artist, creating an up-close concert experience that emphasizes the connection between performer and
audience.
With catchy melodies, vintage flair, and a playful stage presence, Meeks promises an evening that will have audiences
tapping their toes and humming along long after the performance ends.
Tickets are limited for this special Backstage Series performance. Tickets may be purchased online at
jasperarts.org/tickets, by calling the Jasper Arts Box Office at 812-482-3070, or in person at the Thyen-Clark Cultural
Center during regular box office hours.
The Jasper Arts Center is located at 951 College Avenue in Jasper, Indiana.
