Resisting Law Enforcement

On 02/06/2026 at approximately 0846 hours, the Jasper Police Department were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the vicinity of 2nd Avenue and Meridian Road. The caller stated her ex boyfriend was at her residence causing a disturbance and dumping trash in her yard. Law enforcement arrived and made contact with the male subject at question, who was later identified as Ryan Lashbrook. Lashbrook would not comply with law enforcement and fled the scene in his 2007 Ford F-250. Lashbrook peeled out of the driveway onto 2nd Avenue, almost causing a traffic accident with another vehicle. Lashbrook drove recklessly, leading the Jasper Police Department in a pursuit. Lashbrook continued to the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue, almost striking two Dubois County Sheriff's Deputies. The pursuit continued and ended in the parking lot of Dubois County Community Corrections (257 Brucke Strasse). Lashbrook exited his vehicle, pulled his pants down and would not comply with verbal commands. Lashbrook eventually complied with verball commands and was taken into custody without incident. 

Upon further investigation, Lashbrook was found to be impaired and transported to Deaconess Memorial Hospital for a blood draw. Once medical clearance was provided, Lashbrook was transported to the Dubois County Security Center and lodged. 

Lashbrook was charged with: Resisting Law Enforcement w/ Vehicle (Level 5 Felony), Aggressive Driving (Class A Misd), Criminal Mischief (Class B Misd), Reckless Driving (Class C Misd), Operating While Intoxicated - Endangerment (Class A Misd), Operating While Intoxicated -Controlled Substance (Class C Misd), Operating While Intoxicated (Class C Misd), Public Nudity (Class C Misd) and Littering (Class B Infraction), Speeding (Class B Infraction), Failure to Yield the Right of Way (Class B Infraction).  

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
