Registration now open for inaugural Hoops for Healthcare event

Registration is now open for the inaugural Hoops for Healthcare event hosted by the Daviess Community Hospital Foundation. The March Madness watch party will be held Friday, March 20, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the National Guard Armory, 500 NE 6th St., Washington, Indiana.Attendees may register online at https://givebutter.com/c/HFH26 or purchase tickets at the door. The all-day event will feature live broadcasts of the opening round of March Madness on televisions throughout the venue, basketball-themed mini games, a silent auction and food and beverages available for purchase.Proceeds from Hoops for Healthcare will support the purchase of rehabilitation therapy equipment at Daviess Community Hospital and the CORE Center, helping patients recover and regain strength close to home.“This event brings our community together around something we all enjoy—basketball—while directly supporting patients who rely on us for care,” said Angie Steiner, director of the Daviess Community Hospital Foundation. “Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured helps provide tools and equipment that make a meaningful difference in recovery and outcomes for our patients.”Sponsorship opportunities are also available and can be secured online at https://givebutter.com/c/HFH26 or by contacting Steiner at 812-254-8858 or [email protected].Sponsorship levels include:
  • Jump Ball Sponsor – $400
    • Includes a table of eight from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with eight total tickets.
  • Bank Shot Sponsor – $600
    • Includes a table of eight from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. with eight total tickets.
  • Slam Dunk Sponsor – $800
    • Includes a table of eight for the full day with eight total tickets.
  • Buzzer Beater Sponsor – $1,000
    • Includes four total tickets, mention in advertising and logo placement on the event listing at dchosp.org.
  • Clutch Sponsor – $2,000
    • Includes a table of eight for the full day with eight total tickets, logo placement with a link to the sponsor’s website on the event listing at dchosp.org and a social media mention.
  • The Big Dance Sponsor has been secured by Home Building Savings Bank.
