Regional Wellness Center Groundbreaking

The City of Jasper and the Tri-County YMCA are proud to announce the official groundbreaking ceremony for the Regional Wellness Center on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

The ceremony will take place at the future site of the facility, 900 W 15th St, Jasper, IN 47546. Community members, regional partners, elected officials, and supporters are invited to attend and celebrate this transformational milestone for Jasper and the surrounding region.

Attendees are encouraged to park at the Jasper Parklands or along 15th Street.

The Regional Wellness Center will be a modern, approximately 70,000-square-foot facility designed to serve residents across Dubois County and the surrounding eight-county region. Owned by the City of Jasper and operated by the Tri-County YMCA, the center will feature a fitness center, gymnasiums, an indoor walking track, group exercise studios, community gathering spaces, and a community kitchen.

This investment represents far more than a recreation facility. The Regional Wellness Center is a strategic initiative focused on:

• Enhancing quality of life for residents of all ages

• Supporting workforce attraction and retention

• Expanding access to childcare and youth programming

• Promoting physical and mental health

• Strengthening regional connectivity and economic growth
