POLICE: A Teen and a Convicted Felon Both Arrested for Illegally Purchasing Gun

VINCENNES -- Two people have been charged with illegally purchasing a firearm at Rural King in Vinncennes.

19-year-old Dakota Lovellette and 22-year-old Nicholas Apple, both of Vincennes, allegedly falsified federal gun purchase forms.

Lovellette is too young to buy a gun and Apple is a convicted felon.

Police say the men had another person buy the gun for them and then sold it to them at a nearby gas station.
