Planned Water Outage- Leopold St Notification of Boil Water Advisory

The Jasper Municipal Water Department announces the water supply has been turned back on for water customers on Leopold St, between 13 th and 14 th Street. However, a boil advisory will be in effect until further notice. 

The Boil Water Advisory is being issued to prevent residents from getting sick from potentially harmful germs or chemicals in the water. 

Residents affected are asked to boil their water for 5 minutes before human and pet consumption. The water is safe for bathing. 

The Boil Water Advisory will last a minimum of 48 hours or until 2 consecutive water samples pass testing. Another notification will be made once the Boil Water Advisory is lifted.
