Parlor Doughnuts Shares Most Popular Doughnut for National Doughnut Day

National Doughnut Day on Friday, June 5, 2026, by giving guests a free French Toast Doughnut with any purchase at all Parlor locations nationwide, in-shop only.

Known for its Famous Layered DoughnutsTM and craft coffee, Parlor Doughnuts is inviting guests to celebrate the sweetest holiday of the year with one of the brand’s most beloved menu items. The French Toast Doughnut, Parlor’s most popular doughnut, features the brand’s signature flaky layered dough topped with maple glaze, cinnamon sugar, and a drizzle of icing.

"Our French Toast Doughnut has become a guest favorite across all of our locations," said Joe Danks, Chief Operations Officer at Parlor Doughnuts. "National Doughnut Day is a small reminder of why we do this. We get to connect with people and share a little joy with a sweet treat. Whether someone has been coming in for years or it's their first visit, we're glad they're celebrating with us."
National Doughnut Day has roots dating back to 1938, when The Salvation Army established the holiday to honor the “Doughnut Lassies” who were women volunteers that served fresh doughnuts to soldiers during World War I. The treats became a symbol of comfort and morale for troops overseas and helped popularize doughnuts across the United States.

The National Doughnut Day offer is valid Friday, June 5, 2026, at all participating Parlor Doughnuts locations. Guests will receive one free French Toast Doughnut with any purchase while supplies last, in-shop only.

About Parlor Doughnuts
Founded in Evansville, Indiana in 2019 by Darrick Hayden and restaurateur Joshua Tudela, Parlor Doughnuts began with a vision to bring people together over distinct doughnuts, creative flavors, and genuine hospitality. The name “Parlor” reflects that spirit—a nod to the warm, inviting rooms where people used to gather and share life. The brand also honors the legacy of the Doughnut Lassies, women who served doughnuts and coffee to soldiers during World War I, offering a taste of comfort and home even on the front lines. Today, that same heart for the community inspires every Parlor location.
