Owensville Couple Wins $91,520 in Shriners 50/50 Drawing
The Hadi Shriners are pleased to announce the winner of the 2026
Shriners 50/50 drawing, which reached a total half-pot of $183,040.
The winning ticket was purchased online by a retired couple from Owensville, Indiana, who have
chosen to remain anonymous. Their portion of the prize totals $91,520 before taxes.
The couple purchased their tickets online because they were unable to visit one of the Shriners'
50/50 booth locations. After learning they had won, they shared plans to use the winnings to
spend time with their grandchildren and take a long-awaited trip to Disney.
The Hadi Shriners extend their sincere gratitude to the thousands of supporters throughout the
Tri-State area and the State of Indiana who purchased tickets and helped make this year's
fundraiser a success. Community support remained strong despite economic challenges facing
many families, demonstrating the region's continued commitment to supporting local charitable
organizations.
The success of the 2026 Shriners 50/50 would not have been possible without the dedication of
volunteers, ticket buyers, host locations, sponsors, and community members who supported the
fundraiser throughout the campaign. We want to shout out to the Pet Food Center East, North
Park Burger King, Hardee's in Newburgh, and Lupe’s Mexican Grill in Princeton for letting us
set up in their parking lots to sell tickets. We greatly appreciate you!
Supporters can look forward to additional fundraising opportunities later this year during the
92nd Hadi Shrine Circus, where special half-pot drawings will be offered in November. The
annual Shriners 50/50 fundraiser will also return in March and April of 2027.
The Hadi Shriners thank the community for its continued support and look forward to building
