One Person Received Minor Injuries From 4-Vehicle Chain Reaction Crash Tuesday

JASPER -- One person was hurt, another cited following a 4 vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Jasper.

It happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Newton and 28th.

Police say three vehicles were stopped at that intersection when a car, driven by Melinda Cook-Gray of Birdseye slammed into one of the vehicles, causing a chain reaction crash.

She was cited for following too closely.

A person in one of the vehicles was treated at the scene for chest and shoulder pain.  He was not transported to the hospital.
