Oakland City Veteran to Receive New Roof Installed by Bone Dry Roofing

Susan Griffin, a U.S. Navy veteran, will receive a new roof on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from Bone Dry Roofing, an Owens Corning Platinum Roofing Contractor, as part of the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project.

Through a partnership with Purple Heart Homes, Susan Griffin was selected and approved as the recipient for the roof replacement.

This initiative is part of a broader commitment by the Bone Dry Family to support veterans in need. On Veterans Day, the Bone Dry Family will provide new roofs to 13 veterans across the Midwest and Florida through the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project. The Bone Dry Family plans to expand its impact by donating a total of 17 roofs for veterans in need in 2025.

The Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project is a nationwide effort to show gratitude and honor the veterans who served our country and the families who support them. Since the inception of this program in 2016, more than 750 military members have received new roofs.
