STATEWIDE --  A new schools’ survey of Hoosier parents has found nearly 30% percent refuse to send their kids to school if masks are required.

State Health Commissioner Dr. Kris Box pointed to that survey on Wednesday saying she finds that incredibly discouraging.

"We don't have the medications yet. We don't have the vaccine yet. What we have are those non-therapeutic interventions: wearing of your mask, social distancing, cleaning your hands," Box says.

Schools in Dubois County continue to work together to form a reopening plan for local schools, but, so far, no final decisions have been announced.
