Ascension St. Vincent Evansville officially blessed and unveiled its new state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar CT scanning device this afternoon, bringing a new level of advanced medical imaging directly to Southern Indiana patients in the Tri-State. This new technology dramatically improves the diagnostic experience and quality of care available to the Evansville community.
“This machine has been a long time coming for our organization, and we are excited to bring this advanced cardiac technology to our patients.” said Amanda Griswold, St. Vincent Director of Imaging Services. “Not only will it enhance the level of care we can provide, but it will also improve accessibility, allowing more patients in our region to receive these services close to home. “
Housed inside the Center for Advanced Medicine, this cutting-edge equipment ensures Evansville area patients receive safer, faster, more comfortable, and more precise care than ever before.

- Shorter Scan Times: Patients will spend significantly less time inside the scanner, reducing anxiety and discomfort.

The acquisition of this life-saving technology was made possible by a generous $2.4 million donation from the Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Foundation, reflecting a continued commitment to investing in the health and well-being of the local community.
