Missing motorists recovered from floodwaters (Lawrence County)

After a multi-day search, Indiana Conservation Officers located and recovered the bodies of two missing motorists shortly before noon today in the floodwaters of the East Fork of the White River in Lawrence County.

Kasee Allman, 21, and Jesse Brock, 35, both of Bedford, were located deceased in the pickup truck they were last known to be driving. Conservation officers, along with multiple agencies, have been searching for the pair after their family and friends reported them missing late Sunday night.

Despite a vast flooded search area, authorities utilized cellphone technology, sonar, divers and drones to narrow their search to the area near Earl Road and Lawrenceport Road, where the truck was ultimately located in approximately 8’ of water.

Other agencies assisting on scene were the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, Bono and Marion Township Fire Departments, and IU Health Ambulance Services.
