Memorial Hospital Launches Program to Help Patients Find Affordable Medications

Matt Crane with the Dubois County Free Press contributed to this report.

JASPER -- Memorial Hospital has rolled out a new program to help patients find lower cost medications.

Our friends at the Free Press report the Mary Potter Medication Resource Center is now open and available to help patients find resources to get long-term medications at reduced cost, in some cases, at no cost at all.

The CDC estimates 20 – 30 percent of new prescriptions are never filled at pharmacies.

In many cases, the cost of the medication was the primary factor.

The new resource center is located inside the Medical Arts Building on 13th Street in Jasper.
