Master Trooper Tim Weisenberger Retires After 26 Years as an Indiana State Trooper

Today a member of the Indiana State Police and a fixture of the Orange County community will be hanging up the mic for the last time.  Master Trooper Tim Weisenberger will be retiring after serving the public with the Indiana State Police for the last 26 years.

Trooper Weisenberger is a native of French Lick, IN and graduate of Springs Valley High School.  Trooper Weisenberger attended Vincennes University earning an associate’s degree before applying to the Indiana State Police. Trooper Weisenberger graduated from the 58th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy on December 10, 1999.
 
Trooper Weisenberger was assigned to the Versailles Post following graduation and patrolled in Dearborn County before transferring to the Jasper District in 2001. 


During his tenure with the Indiana State Police, Trooper Weisenberger served as a Field Training Officer (FTO), a recruit school counselor for the 67th and 68th recruit schools. Trooper Weisenberger has served on the Indiana State Police Tactical Intervention Platoon (TIP) and has also served as a Mustang driver in the high-performance vehicle unit.  Throughout all his years serving Indiana, he has accumulated over 900,000 safe driving miles.

Trooper Weisenberger has an unwavering work ethic, has mentored countless troopers, and is a positive reflection of the Department. “He will be missed.”


Trooper Weisenberger resides in rural Orange County with his wife, Kelly.
