March to August is a string duo comprised of Derrick and Jodi Mears based in the Ozark Mountains. Known for storytelling, thought-provoking lyrics, and intricate instrumentation, their roots-driven style melds elements of Americana, Alt-Country, and Bluegrass genres on music with powerful songwriting.

Derrick’s rich vocals combined with banjo, guitar, and Jodi’s rhythmic foundation powered by bass, stomp box percussion, and lap-steel round out an unexpected full sound from just two musicians. March to August returns to Dubois County in support of the Ferdinand Folk Festival, having performed on the Main Stage in 2023.
