Man Accused of Entering Home, Threatening Another Man Inside

HUNTINGBURG -- A Huntingburg man was arrested Monday night after entering a home that wasn’t his.

Police were called out to an apartment in the 200 block of North Walnut Street a little before 9:00 p.m. on a report of threats being made.

When officers arrived, they arrested 31-year-old Thomas Burch.

They say he entered the victim’s apartment without knocking and allegedly threatened the man inside.

Burch is charged with felony Residential Entry and Intimidation.

He also faces misdemeanor counts of Resisting Law Enforcement, Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.
