Locking Arms For Suicide Awareness

Locking Arms for Suicide Awareness is a 501c3 organization. Locking Arms was founded by Kendra in 2019 after she lost her brother to suicide, in August of 2016. We created a safe space for those in the community who needed to connect with each other after being affected by suicide; a place to lean on each other, learn and grow in suicide prevention and awareness. We pride ourselves in continuing to give back to our community every year. We are happy to now be a team of 9 suicide loss survivors with several volunteer members giving back each year. 

While having made great strides, Locking Arms for Suicide Awareness still has more to accomplish. With your help, we will again host our Seventh annual Locking Arms Benefit to raise funds and continue our work! The event will take place on Saturday September 12 th 2026 at Venue 1408 in Huntingburg. FREE to the community. 

Your support is needed to make our important benefit a success! We are asking for sponsorships or donation items for door prizes. Monetary gifts are appreciated if an in- kind contribution or sponsorship is not possible. You will make a difference by partnering with us. This year will be our seventh year of giving back to so many in our community, and our first year bringing our event to the community without an entry fee so we hope to provide as many meals as we can. 

Your gift will be used to support the mission of Locking Arms, including the goal of providing suicide prevention classes, our LOSS team working beside law enforcement to help families during a local suicide and much more.
