LENGTHY ISP DRUG INVESTIGATION LEADS TO ARREST
A lengthy Indiana State Police drug investigation led to the arrest, Tuesday, January 20th, of a Lawrence County woman.
Detectives with ISP's Drug Enforcement Section initiated a drug investigation involving Baylee Lackey, Age 23, of Springville. Using a variety of investigative techniques, the detectives developed probable cause, which led to the request for an arrest warrant. Lackey was located in Bloomington and arrested without incident. She was charged with the following:
- Conspiracy to Deal Methamphetamine, a Level 2 Felony
- Dealing Methamphetamine, a Level 2 Felony
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department assisted ISP detectives with the investigation.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
