Lane closure planned for State Road 56 in Orange County
The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a lane closure for State Road 56 in Orange County.
Beginning on or around Friday, May 1, crews will begin a lane closure for State Road 56 in French Lick. This lane closure will occur between Plum Street and Bennet Street.
This lane closure will allow a project to replace a sewer pipe and install ADA ramps. Work is expected to take three weekdays to complete, depending on the weather.
One lane of traffic will remain open during this project. Traffic flow will be controlled with a flagger. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
