Kimball International Named One of America’s Most Responsible Companies

Jasper- Kimball International has been named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies by Newsweek and Statista. Kimball International placed 13th in the Consumer Goods category, and 83rd overall out of the 500 companies that were recognized.

The America's Most Responsible Companies 2023 were selected based on more than 30 key performance indicators (KPIs) derived from corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability measures. The KPIs focused on company performance in the areas of environment, social, and corporate governance (ESG).

“For more than 70 years, Kimball International’s strong values have guided our belief in doing what’s right, not only for the communities we serve, but to make a positive impact on the world,” said Kristie Juster, Kimball International Chief Executive Officer. “Since our humble beginnings, we’ve sought a greater purpose, and we’re dedicated to building a more sustainable future. We’re honored to be named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies because corporate responsibility has always been embedded in our purpose and how we do business.”

Newsweek and Statista also conducted an independent survey to evaluate company reputations; 13,000 U.S. citizens were asked about their perception of company activities related to CSR performance in general, and in the three sub-dimensions of ESG. The initial analysis focused on the top 2,000 public companies by revenue, and banks and insurance companies with total assets exceeding $50 billion.

The final America's Most Responsible Companies 2023 list recognizes the top 500 most responsible companies in the United States, spanning 14 industries. America's Most Responsible Companies 2023 can be reviewed at https://www.newsweek.com/rankings/americas-most-responsible-companies-2023.
