From Local Sources

JASPER -- A Jasper woman is accused of violating state gambling laws.

Police say Amy Biddle, an assistant manager at the Circle A in Jasper, allegedly stole lottery tickets, scratch them off, then use the winnings to pay for the purchase of the tickets.

Police say she took around $300 in scratch offs.

She’s charged with theft and a gambling law that prohibits retailers to buy tickets from their place of employment.
