Jasper Martial Arts Leader James Birkle to Receive Prestigious 2026 G.O.A.T. Honors Award

Renshi James Birkle of Jasper, Indiana, has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious 2026 G.O.A.T. Honors (Greatest of All Time) Martial Arts Award, recognizing his lifetime of dedication, leadership, and service to the martial arts community. 

The G.O.A.T. Honors Awards, founded by Grand Master Lawrence Arthur, recognize distinguished martial artists from around the world whose commitment to excellence, leadership, instruction, and community service has made a lasting impact on generations of students. The 2026 awards ceremony will be held on July 25, 2026, in Lynchburg, Virginia. 

Renshi James Birkle has devoted more than four decades to the study and teaching of the martial arts. He is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Adonai Bushido Karate and serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Instructor of Tai Chi Stick Fit "Senior Strong" in Jasper, Indiana. Throughout his career, he has been committed to helping students of all ages improve their physical health, confidence, and quality of life through martial arts training and wellness programs. 

In addition to his accomplishments as a martial arts instructor, Renshi Birkle has become a respected advocate for senior fitness through Tai Chi Stick Fit, promoting balance, mobility, and healthy living for older adults. His dedication to serving others through martial arts has earned him recognition throughout Indiana and the national martial arts community.
