Jasper Man Arrested on Shoplifting Charges

JASPER -- A Jasper man was arrested over the weekend on theft charges.

Police say Onell Junior Ortiz stole over $157 worth of items from the Jasper Walmart Sunday afternoon.

He was caught by store employees.

The items were recovered and Ortiz was arrested on that theft charge.
