Jasper Man Arrested After Walking Down Street Drunk

From Law Enforcement Sources

JASPER -- A Jasper man was arrested last night after creating quite a scene.

Jasper Police made contact with 38-year-old Christopher Ham for stumbling in the middle of Dewey Street.

When officers asked him to use the sidewalk for his safety, Ham allegedly became belligerent and aggressive toward the officers.

They had to use pain compliance to get Ham in the squad car.

Police say the man blew a point .19 on a breathalyzer.

He’s charged with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication.
