Jasper Interact Club to Meet With Rotary Club to Hear Dr. Lorey Speak About ATHENA Honor

JASPER -- The Jasper Interact Club will be holding a collaborative meeting with the Rotary Club of Jasper on Thursday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in the Jasper High School Community Room. 

During this meeting, special guest Dr. Tracy Lorey, 2019 Athena Recipient, will be sharing her Leadership, Service and Athena presentation with attendees. 

She will conclude with a check presentation to Cassie Williams, founder of Community CHEW, Dr. Lorey’s ATHENA Charity of Choice. 

Williams will then share information about Community CHEW and outline how the money will be used to help children in the community. 

Other topics to be covered at the meeting include the ATHENA project at the Dubois County Museum, Interact’s slate of officers, and the Caps for Benches project. The Interact club president will also open the floor to gather ideas for an International project. 

The meeting will conclude with networking between Interact and Rotary club members.
