On Monday, March 9 th , DCSO detectives took custody of James
Carr at the Boone County Detention Center and transported him back to Owensboro where he
was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center on charges of Murder, Assault 2 nd Degree,
and Tampering with Physical Evidence for his involvement in the shooting death of Brody
Lanham.
Detectives have also developed additional information that leading to charges of Murder
(Complicity) and Assault 2 nd Degree (Complicity) for Ayden Farrow. Farrow was charged with
the two new charges this evening at DCDC where he was already being held on charges of
Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution 1 st Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Detectives are looking for information regarding a white SUV that was in close proximity to the
shooting and would like to interview the occupants or owners of the vehicle. They are not
considered suspects but may have witnessed the shooting.
