Indiana State Police Make Arrests in Apparent Shooting, Vehicle Crash Investigation in Washington County
Detectives from the Indiana State Police Sellersburg Post continue to actively investigate the June 13 incident in Washington County. Investigators are processing evidence and conducting interviews as the case moves forward.
The Indiana State Police has made the following arrests in connection with the ongoing investigation into the June 13 suspected shooting and vehicle crash in Washington County:
• Jessica Lambert, 35, of Pekin, Indiana — arrested on probable cause on June 16, 2026; charges: intimidation (Level 6 felony) and false informing.
• Kendall Cline, 20, of Salem, Indiana — arrested June 15, 2026; charges: intimidation (Level 6 felony) and dealing in a Schedule I controlled substance (Level 6 felony).
• Ethan D. Edison, 22, of Salem, Indiana — arrested June 16, 2026; charges: intimidation (Level 5 felony), dealing in a Schedule I controlled substance (Level 6 felony), and pointing a firearm (Level 6 felony).
Both Cline and Edison were arrested on warrants issued through Washington County. All three individuals were incarcerated at the Washington County Jail, where they are being held without bail.
This case remains active and ongoing. To protect the integrity of the investigation, only limited information is being released at this time. Additional arrests or charges may occur as the investigation moves forward.
All subjects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court. Charges are allegations and may be amended.
