Indiana Pacers expand global reach with launch of ‘Los Pacers’ social media channels to connect with Spanish-speaking fans

The Indiana Pacers announced the launch of “Los Pacers,” the team's new Spanish-language social media presence on Instagram and Facebook, as part of an expanded effort to connect with Spanish-speaking fans throughout Indiana and around the world.

Los Pacers, launched with support from Lucas Oil, will provide Spanish-language coverage of the Pacers, including game-day content, team news, highlights, behind-the-scenes access, community stories and original content created specifically for Spanish-speaking fans. The launch marks another step in the Pacers' commitment to growing the game of basketball and creating more opportunities for fans to connect with the team in culturally relevant and authentic ways.

"Basketball is a global game, and we want to continue finding new ways to connect with fans wherever they are and however they experience the game," said Mel Raines, president and CEO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment. "Launching Los Pacers gives us an opportunity to build a deeper relationship with Spanish-speaking fans in our community and around the world, while celebrating the culture and passion they bring to Pacers basketball."

With more than 14.6 million followers across its social media platforms, the Pacers have built a global digital community and are continuing to expand how they connect with fans around the world.

The Pacers are also partnering with Radio One in Indianapolis to provide Spanish-language radio broadcasts on La Mega 105.1 FM and Fuego 92.7 FM of 10 regular-season home games during the 2026-27 season. The broadcasts, which will begin on Nov. 13 for the Pacers versus New York Knicks matchup, will provide fans another opportunity to experience Pacers basketball in Spanish and further expand access to the team across Central Indiana. The launch comes as the Pacers prepare to play the Denver Nuggets in Mexico City on Nov. 7 as part of the NBA's 2026-27 regular season.
