Indiana Pacers celebrate ABA 50th Anniversary with new uniforms, custom court

The Indiana Pacers today unveiled new ABA 50th Anniversary Classic Edition uniforms and a custom court design as part of a season-long celebration marking 50 years since the ABA-NBA merger.

Inspired by the team's 1971–74 uniforms, the Classic Edition features the iconic royal blue synonymous with the Pacers' ABA era. Fans can visit Pacers.com/Classic for a first look at the commemorative merchandise collection, which goes on sale at 10 a.m. on Oct. 19, as well as additional details and the opportunity to sign up for text alerts.

The season-long celebration will also include a custom ABA-themed court, which will debut Nov. 1 and be used throughout the season. The court will honor the franchise's ABA legacy through design elements featuring the ABA trophy, the Pacers' championship years and retired franchise legends. The lanes on the court are plaid to honor Bobby "Slick" Leonard, who led the team to three ABA championships and three ABA division titles. Additional ABA-themed game nights and merchandise will be announced throughout the season.
