Hundreds Run in Annual Heartland Half Marathon Over the Weekend

JASPER -- More than 600 people turned out over the weekend for the annual Heartland Half Marathon in Jasper.

The race was held Saturday morning near downtown and the Riverwalk area.

WITZ’s Melanie Arehart, B.J. Thomas and Justin Howard participated in the annual Heartland Half Marathon.

This year’s race winner, by the way, was Jeremy Johnson (pictured to the far right).
