Holiday World’s Summer Wine’d Down Culinary Festival Back by Popular Demand

Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari’s Summer Wine’d Down Culinary Festival is back for its second year. Featuring a menu of more than 40 new snacks, treats, small bites, and more across the parks’ restaurants, the event is one more reason for Guests to head to Santa Claus, Indiana. The event runs every day the parks are open through September 13.

“This event is incredible,” says Leah Koch-Blumhardt, Director of Communications and Fourth-Generation Owner. “It’s a must-attend event for locals because our food and beverage team is among the best in the industry. My personal favorite is the April Fools’ Day ‘Burger and Fries Basket.’ It looks like a burger and fries, but it’s made of cookies, a brownie, and churro fries. You won’t believe your eyes!”

This year’s event features an all-new menu that celebrates Holiday World’s four holidays, as well as additional holidays such as Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day. Wine pairings are available in four locations across Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, but aren’t required to enjoy the event.

Other menu highlights include:

  • Thanksgiving Cornucopia – Plymouth Rock Café – a bread cone stuffed with roasted turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, gravy, and dried cranberries
  • Mardi Gras Bayou Basket – Wildebeestro – Crispy Cajun shrimp with fries
  • Labor Day Backyard Cookout Pizza – Jungle Jake’s – Personal pizza topped with hamburger, tomato, and pickles
  • Christmas Tree Cake in a Cup – Santa’s Merry Marketplace – Layers of vanilla cake, buttercream frosting, and sprinkles

Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari are open daily through August 16, when the park switches to weekends-only operations. Friday Night Live! begins on August 21 and runs every Friday through October 30. Splashin’ Safari is open through September 13, and Happy Halloween Weekends begins September 19.
