Holiday World Ranked Top Theme Park in Forbes Best Customer Service list

“As a family-owned and -operated business, we’re astonished to see Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari listed among these huge national mega-brands,” says Leah Koch-Blumhardt, Director of Communications and Fourth-Generation Owner. “But at the same time, we’ve had our sights set on delivering exceptional operations for the last several years. This is a testament to how friendly and excellent our Team Members truly are. Our Guest satisfaction ratings are higher than ever.”

Holiday World theme park is open Saturdays and Sundays for Happy Halloween Weekends, a family-friendly event with a dinosaur theme in 2026. The event features a 12-acre Dino Corn Maze Adventure and a 500-drone show on Saturday Nights called Dinos Soar in the Sky. Beginning this weekend, the park is offering extended 10pm Saturday closings through October 24. The park is open Friday evenings from 5 – 10pm for Friday Night Live!, which includes live music, drink specials, and night rides on the park's famous lineup of roller coasters and rides.

“Our vision is to be every family’s home for the holidays, and we’re going to get there by delivering heartfelt, authentic experiences,” adds Koch-Blumhardt. “We don’t have ‘cast members’ because we’re not putting on a show. We deliver excellent service and great value, with free soft drinks, free parking, and free sunscreen. No gimmicks, no gotchas, just good, old-fashioned family fun.”

The $22 million project is expected to open in the spring of 2027 and will be the first ride of its kind in the Midwest. 2027 Season Passes are on sale now.
