Heimatfest Headliner Concert Cancelled Saturday Due to Severe Weather, Performer Responds on WITZ

FERDINAND -- The threat of severe weather Saturday forced Heimatfest organizers to cancel the headliner’s concert.

Cale Dodds was scheduled to take the state at 9 p.m. Saturday in Ferdinand… 

On our WITZ Facebook page, the rising country artist wrote a message to disappointed fans.

He said, “Sorry guys; unfortunately this decision was out of our control and best for everyone's safety of the event! I'm looking forward to coming back. See yall soon! -CD"

The weather didn’t ruin the entire Heimatfest.  Events were scheduled through the two day event which kicked off Friday at the 18^th Street Park.
