Heavy Rain Already Forcing Road Closures in Dubois and Surrounding Counties

AREA WIDE -- Transportation officials are urging drivers not to cross water-covered roadways today after heavy rain overnight and this morning has already led to high water in some areas.

In Dubois County, portions of the following roads are closed: 

- CR 150 North

- CR 875 West

- CR 800 West

- 1st Street in Huntingburg

(We will add specific locations once we receive them from the Highway Dept.)

In Martin County, Highway 150 East, at the Zip Lines, is currently under approximately 1 foot of water due to the drainage ditches being full and stopped up.

INDOT has been notified. Please use caution in the area.
