Halloween Warrick County Wreck Sends Three to the Hospital

Warrick Co. - A Warrick County wreck on Halloween afternoon sent three individuals to the hospital in a two-car collision.

On October 31st, just after 4:00 p.m., Warrick County Dispatch was alerted to a traffic accident with unknown injuries at the intersection of State Road 66 and State Road 662.  According to the report, officers arrived on scene and conducted life saving measures for those involved.


Timothy Williams, 59, of Santa Claus, was travelling West on S.R. 66 before turning South on S.R. 662. According to the Warrick County Sheriff's Office, Williams failed to yield to oncoming traffic. An oncoming SUV struck Williams' Volkswagen, causing air bags to deploy in both vehicles.

Williams was reportedly immediately transported to St. Vincent Evansville for medical treatment.

Two of the three occupants of the SUV were also transported to St. Vincent Evansville with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
