Gov. Braun Announces $3.3 Million in Energy-Saving Investments to Lower Utility Bills for Evansville Residents
Indiana Governor Mike Braun today announced more than $3.3 million in completed and ongoing energy-efficiency upgrades throughout Evansville and the surrounding area as part of the Indiana Energy Saver Program. The investments support single-family and multifamily properties, including all 170 apartment units at Grandview Tower Apartments, to reduce energy costs, improve home comfort, and strengthen housing affordability.
“I am committed to delivering affordable, reliable energy solutions for all Hoosiers,” said Gov. Braun. “I am excited about the investment being made in the Evansville area and encourage additional homeowners, tenants and landlords to apply for the program.”
More than 6,000 households are currently participating in the Indiana Energy Saver Program statewide with the support of approximately $182 million in federal funding.
