TELL CITY -- Former Indiana State Trooper Jeremy Galloway entered a plea of "Not Guilty" in a Perry County courtroom Wednesday.

He resigned from the Jasper post earlier this month after being arrested on arson and insurance fraud charges.

Investigators believe Galloway burned down his Tell City home back in October for the insurance money.

New charges of animal cruelty have been recently added since two dogs died in the fire.  No humans were hurt.

A pre-trial conference is scheduled for April 29th.
