Flood Watch Issued, Dubois Co. Could See Up to 3 Inches of Rain, the NWS Warns

By: David Shepherd / News Director - Forecaster

AREA WIDE -- The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Dubois and Daviess Counties through 8 a.m. Friday.

We have a lot of rain coming, friends.

Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be possible today and tonight as a cold front approaches from the west.

The repeated rounds of rain, some potentially heavy at times, could lead to flooding issues.

Two to three inches of rain may fall in the next 24 hours.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.

Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
