WASHINGTON -- A volunteer firefighter in Daviess County has been sentenced to over 2,000 days in prison after pleading guilty to driving while intoxicated, killing a fellow firefighter responding to a crash scene.
27-year-old Colby Blake’s blood alcohol content was over .15 when he struck and killed Kendall Murphy at that crash scene back in November of last year.
Blake pleaded guilty to a felony count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
