Fire Destroys Local Officer's Home and You Can Help, Investigation Underway

TELL CITY -- Indiana State Police and the state Fire Marshall are investigating a weekend fire in Tell City.

It happened at the home of a Perry police officer early Sunday morning while he was working. His home was destroyed along with everything in it.

The officer’s two dogs were killed in the blaze.

A Go fund me page has been set up for that officer. So far, it’s raised over $1,000 in donations.
