DUBOIS SWCD ANNOUNCES FIRST-EVER PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST: “CONSERVATION IN ACTION”

The Dubois County Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) is excited to announce the launch of its first annual Photography Contest, celebrating the theme “Conservation in Action.” The contest invites Dubois County residents to showcase the beauty, creativity, and real-world impact of conservation efforts happening throughout the community. 

Participants are encouraged to submit images that highlight soil, water, and wildlife conservation, whether through everyday practices, innovative approaches, or inspiring natural moments. The goal is to reveal how conservation is woven into the landscape and daily life accross Dubois County. 
 
How To Enter
Residents may submit their photographs now through June 11, 2026, using the QR code provided on the contest flyer or visiting www.duboisswcd.com to find the link. The link gives access to the entry form, judging criteria, and full contest guidelines.

  • Open to Dubois Countyy Residents Only 
  • Photos must reflect the theme “Conservation In Action” 

    The Dubois County Soil & Water Conservation District supports responsible land and resource stewardship through outreach, education, and community programming. This photography contest continues SWCD’s commitment to engaging the public in conservation awareness and celebrating the role individuals play in protecting natural resources.
