Dubois County Unemployment Numbers Went Up in June Despite the Economy Starting to Reopen

JASPER -- Jobless numbers were up in Dubois County in June at 7.1%.

Last month, the number stood at 5.7%

According to the latest unemployment numbers released Monday, Orange County has the highest unemployment in the state last month at 20%.

The lowest unemployment in the state in June was in Daviess County at 5.7%.  The second lowest was in Martin County.  They reported 6.6% unemployment last month.

Elsewhere across the area, Spencer County had 7.8%.... Pike County 9.1%... and 10.4% unemployment in June in Perry County.
