Dubois County Republicans to Host October Workshop

Jasper - The Dubois County Republican Party will host a workshop for people who would like to learn more about Dubois County government ahead of the 2022 elections.  The workshop will be held at the Jasper Train Depot, 201 Mill Street in Jasper, on Monday, October 4th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm ET.  

The content of the workshop will be an overview of local government with a focus on the town, township and county offices subject to election in Dubois County in 2022.  

There is no commitment expected on the part of participants and no commitment tendered by the Dubois County Republican Party.

Presenters for the workshop will be Kitty Merkley and Don Hayes.  Kitty Merkley served as the Madison Township Trustee from 2013 to 2016 and is currently serving her second term as Dubois County Treasurer.  A graduate of the Lugar Series for Excellence in Public Service, she is the Dubois County Republican Party Chairman.  

Don Hayes served as Dubois County GOP Chairman for over 27 years and is currently serving his second four-year term as 8th District Republican Congressional Committee Chairman.
