Dubois County Museum Announces 3 rd Annual Photo Contest
The Dubois County Museum announces their 3 rd Annual Photo Contest. All amateur photographers are
welcome to enter the contest. The contest theme is “Your Favorite Photo”. Photos may be flowers,
animals, landscapes, macro, etc. Photos may be color or black and white. Categories this year are
Youth-ages 5 to 17 and Adults-ages 18 and over.
To entry, please submit a frames 8 X 10 photograph to the Dubois County Museum either by bringing it
to the Museum, or mailing it to Dubois County Museum, 2704 N Newton Street, Jasper, IN 47546. Any

Photos must be taken by you. You may submit up to three photos. Minor editing allowed. Cropping,
sharpness, color, etc. $5.00 entry fee per photo. No previous entries allowed.
Submit your entries from April 15 to April 30, 2026.
Photos will be on display for viewing and public voting from May 1 through June 1, 2026. One voting
ballot per person per day with paid admission or Museum pass. Cash prizes in each category will be
awarded, plus a special judging award will be presented. Winners will be announced June 2, 2026.
After winners are announced, the photos will be on display till July 1. All entered photos may be picked
up at the Museum after that date.

About the museum
The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.-2:00pm, Saturday from 10:00
a.m.-4:00pm and Sunday 1:00-4:00pm. Closed on Monday.
Admission of $5 per adult, $3 for high school students, and $2 for middle and elementary
students is charged. Visitors four and under are free. Those holding a current Dubois County
Museum Membership are granted free admission.
The Dubois County Museum is a local nonprofit organization committed to the collection,
preservation and interpretation of historical artifacts and information important to the citizens
of the county. Museum operations are funded by annual memberships, admissions, donations
and gifts from visitors, area residents and businesses. It is operated entirely by volunteers. It is
located in Jasper at 2704 N. Newton Street (US231). Call (812) 634-7733. Please allow two
hours to view exhibits.
