JASPER -- More Hoosiers are now eligible to get the vaccine.

Now, anyone 60 or older can get their shot.  Healthcare workers and first responders continue to be eligible for the vaccine despite their age.

To make an appointment to get the vaccine, log on to ourshot.in.gov.  If you don’t have internet access, call 211.

In Dubois County, 7,559 people have received the first of two doses of the Moderna vaccine.  4,247 residents are now fully vaccinated after receiving both doses.

Those vaccination numbers are more than three times higher than most other counties within our listening area.
