Dubois County Health Dept. to Host Drive-Thru High Dose Flu Clinic For Senior Citizens Next Week

JASPER -- We’re still battling COVID-19, but the Dubois County Health Department is looking ahead to flu season.

Local health officials will host a drive-thru High Dose Flu Clinic on Friday, September 4th at the Health Department.  It runs from 8:30 a.m. until noon, rain or shine.

The clinic will be for residents 65 and older, as they are our "most vulnerable population."  The high dose flu vaccine for senior citizens is covered by Medicare and private insurance.

Organizers of the clinic say the drive-thru format will be more convenient and safer due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The Health Department is located at 1187 S. St. Charles Street in Jasper.  You can call the department with any questions at (812) 481 – 7056.
