Dubois County Health Department to Host Free Car Seat Clinic at The Playce

The Dubois County Health Department is pleased to announce a free Car Seat Clinic on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET at The Playce located at 248 Third Street, Jasper, IN. This event is open to all families in Dubois County and surrounding areas. 

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on hand to provide one-on-one assistance with car seat installation, ensuring that seats are properly secured and appropriate for each child’s age, weight, and height. This service aims to reduce the risk of injury or death in the event of a vehicle crash. 

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to bring their child’s car seat, vehicle, and any relevant manuals to the clinic. This event is part of the Health First Indiana initiative, which supports local health departments in addressing key health priorities, including child passenger safety. Car seat checks are also offered daily at the health department during normal business hours.
