Dubois County Chamber of Commerce Awards First Quarter Business Grant to Jasper River Centre

The Dubois County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that the Jasper River Centre has been selected as the recipient of the Chamber's First Quarter Business Grant.

A check presentation was held on June 5, 2026, recognizing the Jasper River Centre's commitment to both economic development and community service in Dubois County.

The $1,000 grant will support a community fundraising event scheduled for October 24, 2026, dedicated to raising both funds and awareness for local veterans. The event will feature live entertainment, a silent auction, and additional fundraising activities designed to generate critical financial support for veterans and veteran-focused initiatives.

Grant funding will help cover essential event expenses, including marketing and promotional efforts, staffing and labor costs, food and beverage offerings, and overall event production."

The Chamber is proud to support a local business that has invested so much in our county," said Angie Sanchez-Hostetter, Executive Director of the Dubois County Chamber of Commerce. "We're especially pleased that these funds will help support local veterans while also benefiting an organization doing such important work in our community. The Jasper River Centre continues to demonstrate a commitment to making Dubois County a better place to live, work, and gather."

The Dubois County Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Business Grant Program was established to support local businesses that are investing in growth, innovation, and projects that positively impact the community.
