Dubois County CARES Honors Community Support on Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, Dubois County CARES (Coalition for Adolescent Resilience and Empowerment Strategies) is pausing to recognize and celebrate the incredible community that makes its mission possible. “Our community’s kindness, involvement and support of Dubois County CARES is essential in CARES’ work to empower students to make healthy choices that do not involve alcohol or substance use,” said CARES Director Candy Neal. “We are looking forward to sharing our message of thanks on Tuesday, as well as seeing how many people view and like our Giving Tuesday post on our social media pages.” Dubois County CARES works year-round to encourage students to live alcohol- and drug-free, offering prevention education and community programs that help young people make healthy, positive choices. The generosity of local supporters fuels these efforts and expands the organization’s reach across Dubois County. Community members are invited to support the mission, spread awareness and join the Giving Tuesday movement by sharing the message and using #DuboisCountyCARESdoyou. “We’d welcome and appreciate your support,” Neal said.
